Instructions for translators

The CryptPad documentation is written in Restructured Text syntax.

Please pay special attention to spaces around elments such as reference links as a missing space can prevent the link from being processed.

Please do not translate

Reference links with only an anchor name.

:ref:`anchor_name`

They are replaced by the next heading after the anchor.

Icon names between pipes.

They are replaced by FontAwesome or Cptools (CryptPad icon font).

Please translate but keep syntax around

Reference links with custom text

Translate only "text shown" and leave the surrounding syntax in place.

Translate "Document owners" and leave the surrounding syntax in place. These badges appear in multiple places so please ensure consistent translation.

According to online translation services, "c" is a valid character here. Still, the translation is wrong: The back-translation of the current line from Bulgarian (Експортирайте документа си като .xlsx или .ods с наличния ви софтуер.) into English says "Export your document as .xlsx'' or.ods'' with your available software." which is incorrect.

This string produces an error when building, possibly because of the lack of space between .ods and "c". Since I am not if the c is a typo or not I will leave it to a native speaker to correct

To import spreadsheets, the supported format are Microsoft Excel ``.xlsx`` and OpenDocument ``.ods``. These can both be exported from popular software such as Google Sheets and LibreOffice Calc:
